Finally after two and one half years, we've made it to Paris! We spent three days there and had a good time--the French we met don't deserve the bad press they've gotten over the years and certainly most recently post "911". The people we saw were friendly and did not look down upon us because we didn't speak French. We highly recommend Paris and hope to get back for warmer weather, and three days is not enough to see everything (OK you can "see" many things, but not enjoy everything Paris offers; ours was definitely whirlwind).
