Idar Oberstein
Idar-Oberstein is a town with a legend of two brothers who fell in love with the same woman. The brothers had built castles on facing mountains and continued to court the woman. In an accident the woman and one brother was killed, and the remaining brother decided to build a church in the side of a mountain to honor her. Mass is still held in the church every Sunday through September. One interesting side note, actor Bruce Wilis was born in this town, March 19, 1956!
