Town of Eppstein

Eppstein is a town about 5 minutes from our house, located in the Taunus mountains. The castle is from the 13th century and like most castles in Germany has received damage from fires, wars, and the ravages of time, wind, and rain. We went to a music festival held in the castle ruins.
