In March of 1933, at the order of Heinrich Himmler, construction on the concentration camp at Dachau began. This camp eventually had seen over 200,000 prisoners from 30 differnt countries at one time or another, and was the sight of many mass murders, and many more died while being used for experiments (among them temperature and altitude experiments).
